The school Zenrin Gakuen (senmon gakkō zenrin gakuen [専門学校 禅林学園]) was established in 1956 in order to pursue So Doshin’s dream of developing true leaders. Since its establishment, this institution has concentrated on the development of human resources that could contribute to the Japanese society.

In April 2002, Zenrin Gakuen College started to offer a general high school curriculum to junior high school graduates, regardless of their prior association with Shorinji Kempo, in order to spread Shorinji Kempo education more widely in society.
The school is lead by Yamasaki-sensei who is its principal.
